WWOOF stands for World Wide Opportunities On Organic Farms. If you join
WWOOF and become a “WWOOFer” you can volunteer to work on “host” farms and smallholdings in exchange for food, accommodation and an opportunity to learn about organic agriculture and acquire practical skills. Many communities are WWOOF hosts and WWOOFing is an excellent way to get a feel for how different communities run.
